Thank you for choosing to refer a family to Learn to Love to Read.  We work in the borough of Wandsworth with primary-age children who are reading below their expected level and with pre-schoolers who are at risk of starting school poorly prepared to learn to read. Children referred may already have language delays, limited vocabulary and comprehension, or reduced parental support, or they may come from a home situation where there is risk of this happening in the future without specific intervention. We are particularly keen to close the disadvantage gap and work with low-income families, but any child struggling with their reading can be considered for support.

Eligibility criteria
The family you are referring must live in the borough of Wandsworth and have at least one child under the age of 11. We are particularly keen to close the disadvantage gap and work with low-income families, but any child struggling with their reading can be considered for support. The family must give you consent to refer them to us for support and be willing for us to make direct contact.

Our services
We provide a range of services for families with children aged 0-11 who would benefit from additional literacy support. These include early literacy classes for 0-4s and their parents, one-to-one reading support for primary-age children and training, messaging and advice for parents to give them the confidence and skills to support their child's reading at home.
