Registration Selection Criteria

Upon receipt of registrations from R10 sections or organizational unit (OU’s), IEEE Region 10 SYWL Organizing Committee will review and select combinations of Student, Young Professional, WIE, and Life Member from each IEEE OU, with the objective to ensure diverse representation and participation. The exact number selected will depend upon the number of submissions, and the limit of capacity at the event.

Sections and R10 OU’s are expected to utilize their OU reserves or previously received incentives to support appointed or nominated delegates, with preferences given to Students, YP, WIE and Life Members. It is strongly suggested that utilization of OU reserves or incentives should be used in this manner for the engagement and training of members from students and Affinity groups.
