At the start of the 2021-22 school year, Birmingham Public Schools embarked on a quest to establish an equitable, comprehensive, and balanced assessment portfolio that is student-centered and provides educators and administrators with actionable data. As part of our pilot program, the Student Learning and Inclusion team is engaging groups of stakeholders to determine which benchmark assessment BPS will use for the 2022-23 school year. Please complete the form below to register to join an upcoming focus group session for parents of students in grades K-8 to discuss your experience with assessments in BPS. You will receive an email prior to the focus group with a Zoom link to join the session.
