The RBC Chrysalis Project is a paid training program which provides emerging theatre artists with hands-on experience and exposure to the working environment on professional theatre productions. With a focus on creative team and designers, RBC Chrysalis participants are selected from a pool of applicants and assigned to productions in Neptune’s 2024-2025 season, where they work side-by-side with and are mentored by seasoned professionals in their chosen field.
Neptune Theatre's RBC Chrysalis Project is made possible through the RBC Future Launch program and is open to youth age 18-30 years of age. The RBC Future Launch program was created to help youth of tomorrow gain the skills they need to prosper by helping youth gain new skills, grow their network, gain work experience and support their mental well-being.
We encourage submissions from artists of all genders, ethnicities, abilities and identities, and will give priority consideration to those who self-identify as IBPOC, LGBTQ2S+, d/Deaf, living with disabilities, and/or facing other systemic challenges in our industry.
The RBC Chrysalis Project offers:
- Introduction into a fast-paced professional environment with ample opportunity for creative input,
- Hands-on involvement in the practical tasks of mounting a large-scale theatre production,
- Networking opportunities, knowledge sharing, and more!
