Year 3, Parent/Student/Teacher Goal Setting Questionnaire, 2025
Dear Year 3 Parents and Students,
To help us to ensure it is a positive and engaging year ahead, where each student will thrive and develop their love of learning, we want to hear from you.

Together with the thorough handover that teachers conducted at the beginning of this year we are providing a further opportunity to gain insight into your child. We would like to meet with you and your child, to discuss your goals and their goals, for the year ahead. This meeting is optional, however we feel it would be highly beneficial as we value student and parent voice at Claremont College, and we place high expectations on the children understanding  their own responsibility for their learning.

Please complete this survey WITH your child, and submit at least 24 hours prior to your meeting or phone call with your child's teacher.

Resilience, Initiative, Collaboration, Ambition, Curiosity, Persistence, Reflectiveness, Focus, Empathy, Good Judgement, Risk Taking, Self Assurance, Flexibility of Mind, Originality.

Which disposition/s do you feel should be your child's goal for growth this year? *

Each term we have Goal Setting lessons in each grade to help the students understand that having goals helps them to focus and create a set of achievable outcomes during a specific time. Goal setting also helps students to realise they can be a proactive part of their own learning journey.

Please discuss your child's Term 1 goals with them. The Term Goals pages can be found on page 17, 45, 71 and 97 of their 2025 diary.

If you would like to comment on your child's goals for this term, please do so.

Thank you for taking the time to fill in this survey. Student voice is valued and essential in each child's school life.
