All puzzles I solve are submitted to me by their constructors. I do not take requests for puzzles that are not from the constructor of that puzzle, so if you have a request like that, please reach out to that constructor and ask them to submit it to me. As of right now, I use a fair queue system for my solve order, but this may change if I get overwhelmed with submissions.
NOTE: If you don't provide any private way to contact you (Discord, email, etc) and I have an issue with your puzzle, I may end up dropping it from the queue. If you want to ensure your puzzle gets solved, please provide me with some way to contact you.
Submission Rules
1. Please ensure that you have provided your puzzle name, setter name, and all the puzzle rules, and ideally they should be short enough to be able to display on stream without scrolling.
2. Keep your rules compact so they can be displayed on stream. You can use wording like "Normal Sudoku rules", you do not need to specify what that means. This is also true of other common variants, like Killer and Little Killer.
3. If using a constraint like Kropki or XV, please specify whether or not there is a negative constraint. If you do not specify, I will assume there is no negative constraint.
Please only request one puzzle, and only make new requests after your previous one has been featured, or if you want to replace the previous one. If it has been more than 2 weeks since your request and it hasn't been featured, feel free to follow up with me to make sure it hasn't been lost.
Puzzle Guidelines
1. I prefer SudokuPad submissions over anything else. If you submit f-puzzles or Penpa+, I will generate the SudokuPad version for you. You can convert these yourself at this URL: https://marktekfan.github.io/sudokupad-penpa-import/
2. The requested puzzle type should be a Sudoku-like puzzle variant, where at the very least the goal of the puzzle is to fill a latin square with unique digits in every row and column. Sometimes I will make exceptions, but please reach out to me first before submitting a puzzle that is significantly different from a Sudoku variant.
3. The puzzle should be standalone as-is. I will not solve "puzzle hunts" on video or stream, unless we have specifically worked that out far in advance and discussed it.
4. Puzzle rules should be as unambiguous as possible. The rules should not be part of what needs to be figured out, they should be a clear representation of how the puzzle should be solved without attempting to trick the reader. If part of the puzzle is to figure out something ambiguous, as long as the rules state the specific ambiguity that is fine. What should be avoided is rules which are incorrect or omit important information that the solver is supposed to figure out as part of a meta puzzle or due to strange/ambiguous wording of the rules themselves. For example: "Not all dots are given" implying a negative constraint is considered tricky. "It's up the solver to determine if a cage is a killer cage or look-and-say cage" is perfectly acceptable.
5. Try to target your difficulty for a 20-40 minute solve time. I may not complete your puzzle if it takes longer than an hour to solve. I use testers to pre-screen puzzles and may reach out to you to let you know if your puzzle is too difficult for the stream. If your puzzle is still appropriate for stream but is expected to be an hour or longer solve, then it is put in a lower priority queue.
