Workshop on Arduino and Smartphone in PED
On 24 and 25 February 2020 in Roma there will be a workshop about Arduino and Smartphones in Physics Education. The main purpose of such a workshop is to bring together people interested in starting an international collaboration to coordinate efforts in introducing these technologies in physics courses at all levels.

The workshop is designed to be an informal meeting during which we want to encourage open discussion as a major part of the event. To instigate such discussion, we have planned presentations from few authors (Sebastian Staacks about the phyphox app for smartphones, Frederic Bouquet about open laboratories for undergraduate students, Giovanni Organtini about Arduino in high schools). We are also eager to hear about your experience in using these tools if time permits, so please feel free to propose a talk if you want to contribute.

We do not have contributions from financing agencies, so we are not going to foresee a conference fee. On the other hand, you should not expect to find something like coffee breaks or gadgets during the works. We may change such a policy if the number of interested people is going to be large enough. In this case a fee below 100 euros may be requested.

The program is the following:
MONDAY 10-13: Smartphone apps for physics review
MONDAY 15-17: Open discussions and hands on demonstrations; groups formation
TUESDAY 10-13: Arduino experiences on PED
TUESDAY 15-17: Open discussions and hands on demonstrations; groups formation
