Tassel Tuesday is a monthly burlesque and variety revue produced by Rock Candy Burlesque on the second Tuesday of every month at the Rhythm and Rye, 311 Capital Way N., Olympia, WA. This production gives burlesque and other performing artists stage time while providing our audience with quality entertainment. We welcome artists of all walks of life, at all levels of experience, to foster a healthy artistic community.
At this time the venue is not able to accommodate aerial work or performances that include fire. In addition, the stage itself is not ADA accessible. This is not to say that arrangements can not be made if your act does not require you to be on the stage.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a PAYING gig. Performance payment is a percentage of the door. We are not able to guarantee a dollar amount. All performers traveling more than 30 miles will have the option of doing two acts, and gas compensation if needed.
Acts are booked on a first-come-first-serve basis. Submission of this form does not guarantee booking. Please note that we generally try not to book any one performer two months back to back. There may be times when an exception is made.
We will contact you to confirm your act has been booked and the date it has been booked for. This will be done via the e-mail address your provide in the form below. When you receive notice your act has been booked, we will let you know when we will send you the tech form for your act. You will be asked to provide your music, two photos for promotional purposes, act intro, tech details and costume info. Please be prepared to fill out the tech form (once received) by the deadline indicated on the form.
