The Richmond Animal League is not an open intake facility, meaning we do not have the capacity to take in owner surrender or found pets. Our primary commitment is to our rescue partners to transfer in pets at the highest risk of euthanasia.

While we are not able to guarantee placement or a timeframe for intake, this form allows us to learn more and shape how we can help support you outside of intake.
