Options for Protection around the Green

Option 1: Earth Mound around the edge of the Green
~ Cheapest option. Simple to implement. Not visually attractive.
~ Prevents parking on the edges of the Green (except where set back to allow parking).
~ May not stop quad bikes from getting on the Green.
~ Low maintenance. Requires grass or wildflower seeding.

Option 2: Wooden Barrier around the edge of the Green
~ More costly option for Council to implement. Visually attractive but easily damaged.
~ Would prevent parking on the edges of the Green (except where set back to allow parking).
~ Should stop quad bikes from getting on the Green.
~ Would require maintenance/replacement in the mid to long term.

Option 3: Metal Barrier around the edge of the Green
~ Most costly option for Council to implement.
~ Prevents parking on the edges of the Green (except where set back to allow parking).
~ Should stop quad bikes from getting on the Green.
~ Requires lower maintenance but most difficult to repair or replace.
