IRVINE—On Wednesday, March 6th, Congresswoman and U.S. Senate candidate Katie Porter (D-CA) will hold a meet and greet in Irvine with the United Auto Workers Union (UAW), which represents more than one million active and retired workers across the country and exclusively endorsed her campaign last month. Porter, who has earned national recognition for taking on powerful special interests in Washington, will meet with UAW members to discuss why California needs its strongest warrior in the Senate to shake up the status quo, root out corruption, and tackle the biggest challenges facing California – from the housing affordability crisis to threats posed by climate change.
