Dictation #1: slick /slɪk/ vs. sleek /slik/
Write the spelling of each item labeled "a"  (e.g. "bit"), and the IPA spelling between slashes (e.g. /bɪt/) for each item labeled "b."

For the special IPA character /ɪ/, use copy-and-paste. For the "c"/"k"/"ck" sound as in "cat", "kite" and "sick", always use /k/. The "g" sound in "get" is always /g/.

Use only lower-case letters, even for names and other proper nouns.
