Heart House is committed to creating and maintaining a respectful and inclusive community, all Heart House performers and volunteers agree to the following code of conduct:

RESPECT

I will act in ways that bring respect to me, my cast, my crew, and the Theater.

I will not insult other persons at Heart House rehearsals or performances.

I will not fight with other cast or crew.

My language, manner, punctuality, preparation and presentation will demonstrate high standards.

REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES

I will practice my lines and music outside of rehearsals so I am prepared by designated dates.

I will listen to my director and be respectful when asking questions or raising concerns.

I will treat everyone equally regardless of sex, ethnic origin, religion or ability.

I will be a positive role model for other members of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY ACTIONS

I will not make inappropriate or unwanted physical, verbal or sexual advances on others.

I will not smoke or chew tobacco at rehearsal/performance space except in designated

smoking areas.

I will not consume alcoholic beverages and/or controlled substances during any Heart House event.

I will not engage in sexual activities during any Heart House rehearsals or performances.

I will respect the property of Heart House, the Ferlazzo Building, and others’.
