The AZM Steering Committee encourages you to submit a video or promo of you or your group with a link to your website for our review and approval. Once approved, this will be publicized on our social media and YouTube channel as part of the 2023 festival.

Suggestions to include in your video:
- Your business history
- The significance of your involvement with the Arizona Matsuri
- A demonstration or explanation of all or part of your performance/demonstration
- Contact information if someone wishes to learn more about your group

Video Parameters:
Applications are open online from November 8th, 2021-January 9th 2022. We prefer that your videos be at least 3 minutes in length and are no more than 15 minutes.

1. Videos will be used on the Arizona Matsuri YouTube channel and social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or other Arizona Matsuri social media outlets.
2. The content must be family-friendly.
3. Originality is encouraged! Be sure to show an unique aspect of performance or demonstration.
4. Quality sound and video are required. Audio levels and clarity, adequate lighting and
video stability are suggested to gain approval of your video.
5. Videos, links, logos and all pertinent information are due when applications are
submitted. The Arizona Matsuri Steering Committee will review all content. Time is needed to do so.
The earlier the submissions are received, the better for all involved. Thank you in advance.
6. Optional: We might suggest that a 10% off coupon for Arizona Matsuri guests be offered at the end
of your video presentation as a thank you for watching, and to push participants to you.
Suggestions are using “AZMatsuri2023” or “AZMwa2023" as your coupon code.

Video Description
Purpose: To highlight and celebrate the contributions of authentic Japanese art and culture as well as the Japanese American history in the U.S. and Arizona, and to increase awareness and
educational opportunity about Japan for the general public. A specific focus is placed on history, cultural
significance, philosophy, mini-lessons/tutorials and contact information for continuing education.

A separate Google form will be sent so you have time to make your video and submit the *YouTube link* while we have your request form.
