About the project:
How many times have you heard about that little girl who says she wishes she could be a Knight some day? Or that teenager who is struggling with their gender identity and wishes for positive, visible role models? This project is intended to both document the female and gender non-conforming fighters in the SCA (both current and former) and to provide inspiration to anyone who wants to make the jump and do the thing, whether it be picking up a sword or discovering more about themself. I've thought about doing this off and on for the last few years, and that I want to see it come to fruition.
