Rapid developments and changes in technology, economy, and governance are transforming India. In this transition, the people of India are looking at unprecedented opportunities and new vulnerabilities. The Future of India Foundation is convening the FoI Policy Forum to help students, faculty and young professionals to stay abreast of these developments and understand their implications. 

The Forum will organize one meeting every two weeks. The meeting will be for 75 minutes: 30 minutes of topic overview followed by 45 minutes discussion. Participation in the Forum is an opportunity to: 

• Stay abreast of the big developments around the world and their impact on India across the areas of technology, economics, and governance

• Understand and discuss key policy issues in the news

• Network with the wider policy community across sectors (MPs, MLAs, industry leaders, startup founders, think tanks, lawyers, tech companies, media, consultants, academia etc)

• Engage with the startup community 

• Participate in research projects

• Understand different pathways to contribute to policy-making in India  

• Be part of a policy network spread across the country
