The course is designed to meet the needs of the students and academic staff of our university.
Course content: paragraph writing, essay writing, sentence structures, academic writing styles, synthesis, cohesion in your writing, English for course paper / dissertation writing, etc.
Applications from both students and academic staff are welcome.
Study starts in the first week of October, 2023.
Course duration: 10 weeks. One 90-minute class per week is planned for either Tuesday or Wednesday.

You are invited to do self-assessment of your English language skills and write a short motivational essay.
Please, do it individually with academic integrity in mind, without cheating. This will ensure your proper grouping and efficient study.
There are going to be two groups for this term. The number of participants is limited to 25 per group.
The enrollment will be carried out on the 'first come, first served basis', though your application will be considered for further courses in case there is available grant funding secured by Cardiff University in January, 2024.
Information collected via this form will be shared with the teachers from Cardiff University involved in the course delivery and used only for the arrangement of the English language courses.
In case of your enrollment, the teacher will contact you next week (September 27-29). The rest of the applicants will be notified of being put on the waiting list.
