The ITCR Training Network (ITN) is hosting 'pop-up' workshops on Documentation and Usability for Cancer Informatics tools featuring a recorded keynote talk by Mary Goldman and discussion-based, brainstorming workshop activities.

The pop-up workshop format:
Invited participants are invited to a discussion time slot. Before they attend the discussion, they are asked to watch a recorded keynote by Mary Goldman about user experience design. User Experience (UX) Design is design based upon an explicit understanding of users, tasks, and environments under which a tool is used. Mary Goldman's keynote talk is an overview of how UX Design has been applied to the development of UCSC Xena. It highlights simple and quick UX tools as well as more in depth methodologies.

On dates: Rolling dates starting in May.
