Delivering Content to Your Students Using Blackboard Learn
In this virtual workshop, faculty will explore how to create, configure, modify, and organize content in a meaningful way. Faculty will also learn how to communicate with their students through announcements and email. At the completion of this workshop, faculty will know how to upload files, organize content into folders, create links, add text, and embed multimedia as well as post an announcement and send an email to students. Assessments in Blackboard Learn: Assignments
This virtual workshop will review one of the assessment techniques made possible through Blackboard Learn. During this workshop, faculty will learn how to create, configure, and deploy assignments to students, enabling online submission. Faculty will also explore grading assignments and providing feedback to students using the inline grading feature in addition to setting up SafeAssign assignments. Teaching with Collaborate Ultra
In this virtual workshop, faculty will explore how to set-up and use the different tools to teach interactively using Collaborate Ultra. Faculty will learn how to manage chat, share and annotate on the whiteboard, upload and share a PowerPoint file, share a web page, create and launch a poll, create breakout groups, and manage participants. Before attending this webinar, faculty should be comfortable with creating a session in Collaborate Ultra as well as editing the session settings. This virtual workshop will explore ways to monitor student progress in Blackboard Learn through the Grade Center. During this workshop, faculty will learn how to configure the Grade Center especially as it relates to creating a weighted total grade column, create manual grade columns, review student submissions, enter and edit grades, create feedback for students, and download the grade data.
