How/from whom did you hear about this course? *
What, if any, is your background or past experience with personal and spiritual growth/exploration/practice or interpersonal work? (I'm curious!) *
This kind of training can be deeply healing and life-changing. At the same time, it is neither a substitute for professional therapeutic work nor a therapy group. It is fitting for people who already have some degree of psychological stability, who seek meaningful growth and transformation. *
What interests you about this course? What would you be excited to learn?
What are your goals for this course?
*
What is a specific example of an interaction you've had that you wish you knew how to navigate/communicate differently? *
This course is a commitment! Learning and integration happen best through regular and consistent engagement. Also, the potency of the group container and the group as a vehicle for learning is significantly affected by participants being consistently and reliably present, barring significant extenuating circumstances. If you have a strong intention, interest, and desire to be part of this kind of transformative learning process, fantastic! Please take a few minutes NOW to check your calendar and confirm that you are indeed available for the following dates and times:

Tuesdays March 12- May 28 9:00am-12:00pm PT, 12-3:00pm ET, 5:00-8:00pm BST, 6:00-9:00pmCET, 7:00-10:00pm IT

*April 23 and May 7 are bonus, guest-led sessions
**If you are an observant Jew needing to miss the April 30th session for religious observance, let me know and I will offer a makeup session.

If you're not available to make this commitment but still keen to learn NVC, please email me and I can refer you to other options.

The course sessions are also best supported by 15 minutes a day of integration practice (I offer structured guidance for this) most days and a weekly 20-30min session with a practice buddy.

As you will have read on the course description page, this course is offered in the gift economy. That means there is no fixed cost and that access to the learning is not limited to those with financial means. I understand this as part of a radical return to the interdependence through which humans lived well for most of our 200,000 years of existence. It is more relational than the exchange economy that's based in scarcity and separation, and is situated in the flow of giving and receiving and of mutual and collective care. It is also an expression of my commitment to these teachings being available to all who seek them and not limited to those of privilege. We will engage this approach to money as part of NVC's broader systemic application and the giving and receiving of money at the end of our course, as part of our learning. This does NOT mean the course is free or has no financial commitment. Teaching and assisting these courses are a primary way that I and the assistants support ourselves financially. This means that, for the sake of reliability and sustainability, when you sign up, you commit to engaging earnestly within this paradigm, including if for some reason you decide not to finish the course. I ask people to consider giving in a wide range between $380-2,000 to support me and my team. This is not a limit on either end, but an idea of what would be sustaining. I ask for $80 upon registration, the rest will be attended as part of our exploration of NVC/needs-based economy at the END of the course.
Once I've reviewed your registration form, I'll be in touch with the technical details for payment. Please indicate one of the following so I can plan accordingly. Thanks!
