Greetings Parents and Students!

I hope everyone had a healthy, fun, and restful summer! Though different than last year, this year we will face a new set of challenges as we rebuild, but as always, the well-being of our students, advancement of their artistic passion and music excellence remains the top priority of the Akins Strings program.

Guitar, Orchestra and now Mariachi classes are performance-based TEKS. However, we also strive to develop "the whole child" as they as they grow and make their path in education.

In order to save paper and time, we sign our handbooks digitally. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Once you complete this form, the submission acts as your digital signature stating that you have read and understand the requirements and expectations of a member of the Akins Orchestra, Classical Guitar and Mariachi Programs.

By completing this handbook, you and your student musician are stating that you understand and accept the time, financial obligation, and discipline that is expected to be a member of the Akins HS String program.
