The Healthy Schools Project invites to contribute to the 2020 Growing Healthy Kids campaign. Your financial contribution will ensure that 6,000 Ventura Unified School District students across fourteen participating schools will have regular opportunities to develop a love for learning, nature, and healthy food in their school garden and kitchen classrooms. All experiential education will be modified to fit within the distance learning framework as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to engaging students in cooking, nutrition, and garden education from the comforts of their own homes and outdoor spaces. There is no contribution that is too small or too large; any contribution you are able to make will be celebrated and greatly appreciated.
