Position: Newsletter coordinator

Time Commitment: 8 hours per month

Mandatory skills needed:
Access to a computer, writing, proofreading, editing, newsletter platforms, manage content from multiple sources, deadline management

Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with Google docs; experience in public relations, journalism or a similar field; and social media experience is an asset. Experience using Mailchimp and with sending newsletters.

General Responsibilities:
This position works closely with the Marketing and Communications Director and the Marketing Officer and would facilitate the creation and delivery of the WFTDA Confidential, as well as other scheduled WFTDA newsletters

Specific Responsibilities:
This position will be required to source, edit, proof and in some cases write the content for the WFTDA Confidential monthly newsletter.  The position may also be called upon to manage scheduled public, direct marketing communications through mailchimp. There could be as many as 3-4 mailings per month including the WFTDA Confidential

Pending Projects:
With guidance from the Marketing and Communications Director and Marketing Chair: Develop content to match our marketing plans. Input content to a template, proof, and deliver newsletters to our community internally and externally. Delivery schedule and content schedule is already created for 2019-2020.
