Careers & Tools for AAPI Mental Health (Jan 29, 2021)
The AAPI Womxn in Leadership and OCAPICA (Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance) would like to invite you to Careers & Tools for AAPI Mental Health on Friday, January 29th at 12:00pm PST.

This event is designed to build awareness of challenges the AAPI community faces as it relates to mental health. Presenters will also address recent mental health observations in the community, intergenerational trauma, available resources, and AAPI representation in the mental health field. Elaine Le, President of UCI’s Southeast Asian Student Association, will address why this topic is important to her student organization.

We are also excited to feature a career panel welcoming back UCI alumni and OCAPICA representatives Cayla Zhang, Sunena Khushalani, and Lorraine Tuala, who are excited to connect with students to have an honest discussion about the experience working in the mental health field as AAPI womxn. Students who are interested in hearing more about careers in the mental health field are highly encouraged to attend this event.

All current UCI students and UCI community members are welcome to attend this event.

Regards,
AAPI Womxn in Leadership Initiative
