The purpose of this organization is to give organized support and recognition to the Health & Medical Pathway at McBride High School by assisting, promoting and supporting the general welfare and interest of the pathway program and its' students.

In order to provide these benefits to the H&M Pathway, we need parents to: 1) hold officer positions, 2) become H&M Booster Club Members, 3) become a regular volunteer, and/or 4)  participate in fundraisers and events.

If you are interested in becoming a booster club officer we have the following positions available:

President: Club leadership, mission development, administrative liaison, executive (rule enforcing) officer; and typically acts as liaison between the club and the school administration.

Vice-President: Takes over interim duties of the President if the President is unavailable; Organizes the leaders of various committees, and helps to make the behind-the-scenes needs happen.

Treasurer: Handles financial transactions, and bank account reconciliation; maintain the 501(c)(3) status with the IRS and corresponding California Franchise Tax documentation.

Secretary: Records meeting minutes, sends out regular communications, and compiles member contact information.
 
Specialized/Committees

Communication Officer: Separate from the secretary, having a dedicated communications officer means putting a stronger emphasis on marketing for events, fundraisers, recruitment, through website updates as well as maintaining a presence on social media.

Events Co-Chairs: While the Treasurer may handle finances, fundraising as a goal throughout the year is best handled by officers who can dedicate their time specifically to event planning, obtaining sponsorships or grants, recruiting volunteers, and marketing.
