Civic Ensemble Youth Forum Theatre Troupe - Parent/guardian form
The Civic Ensemble Youth Forum Theatre Troupe is a creative ensemble of young people aiming to explore and impact topics that are important to them in their community through theatre. Meeting weekly from October through April, this group will build theatre skills, build community, and create a piece of original Forum Theatre to be shared with an audience.

Forum Theatre is a type of play that invites the audience members to interact with the story to change the outcome for the better. Participants in the Youth Forum Theatre Troupe will not only create an original play, but help make change on an issue they care about by working to change the outcome of a situation.
The Forum Theatre Troupe will meet in the BorgWarner Room at the Tompkins County Public Library on Green St. on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm:

October 12, 19, 26
November 2, 9, 16, 30
December 7, 14
January 11, 18, 25
February 1, 8, 15
March 1, 8, 15, 20-25, 29

Note: Additional rehearsals might be scheduled closer to the end of the project if need be, an in communication with participants. Performances will be held during the week of March 20, at a time/date TBD.

A light meal will be provided at all rehearsals. The program is free for participants, and all materials will be provided.
