Project TEAL Director of Campaigns Application
Project TEAL (https://www.projectteal.org/) is a student-led initiative committed to providing young people with the knowledge and tools to become engaged citizens in the democratic process. Through tolerance, engagement, action, and learning, we believe that civic engagement is the key to dismantling the polarization that has come to dominate our geopolitical climate today.

The Director of Campaigns will be expected to lead & organize a monthly campaign (such as a panel, townhalls, etc.) that focuses on advocating for issues that are important to young people. All campaigns should relate back to Project TEAL's mission of advocating for increased civic education and/or empowering young people to become involved in the political process. The Director of Campaigns may also be expected to work alongside the Director of Policy to organize various policy-focused events. Dedication, an adept writing ability, and experience organizing youth are all encouraged.

If you consistently exemplify your ability to fulfill the above responsibilities with professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm, you may hold this position until you graduate from high school. Once an applicant is selected for a role, they will be expected to begin immediately.

You must be in grades 9-12 to be selected as the Director of Campaigns for Project TEAL. Additionally, the Director of Campaigns should be able to commit at least 4 to 6 hours per week to this position. We strongly urge you to consider the time, effort, and passion you would be able to dedicate to the role before applying. After submitting this application, you will hear back within a few weeks with a decision concerning your placement on our team.

All applications are due by June 19 at 11:59 EST. If you have any questions, please email
