We Are In The Process Of Planning Our 2023-2024 Athletics Year. 

There Are School Division Requirements For All Volunteers As Well As Coaching Requirements Put Forth By The ASAA. These Requirements Will Be Discussed With The Prospective Volutneers By Our Athletic Director.

Expectations Of Coaching Positions
All Coaches At West Central High School Are Expected To Work With Student Athletes In A Supportive Athlete First Manner. Coaches Should Focus On Teaching An Educational Athletics Growth Mindset To Our Student Athletes. The Focus Is On The Growth Of Our Student Athletes With The Outcomes Of Games Being A By Product Of Student Athlete Development. Winning And Losing Is Important But The Fully Developed Athlete Is The Focus Of Educational Athletics.

Coaches Must Represent West Central High School In The Best Possible Manner On The Sidelines, In The Community And Online.

Head Coach:
- Division & ASAA Requirements Are Met
- Full Attendance For All Team Events
- Plan Practices
- Gameplans & System Preparations
- Work With Athletic Director To Schedule Tournaments, Games & Events

Full Time Assistant Coach:
- Full Attendance For All Team Events
- Work With Head Coach To Make Practice & Game Plans

Part Time Assistant Coach:
- Division & ASAA Requirements Are Met
- Will Attend As Many Team Events As Possible
- Work With Coaching Staff To Execute Practice & Game Plans
