Love, KK was established in 2018 to commemorate the beautiful life of Kaeley “KK” Brady. Love, KK is a non-profit corporation, with a mission to empower local small businesses, farmers, and the people in the community with an entrepreneurial spirit by providing awareness, educational assistance, resources, and learning experiences. The Love, KK Foundation's mission is inspired by KK’s life and her passion for entrepreneurs, farmers, and small businesses. KK’s passion was ignited when she started working at Cowbell Kitchen- a local food truck and catering company in Leesburg, VA. She became passionate about selling her own smoothie bowls and recipes through Cowbell Kitchen, and eventually became a partial owner of the company. She learned to value other small businesses by working with local farmers and companies through the local farmer’s markets. KK realized how far local business support can go, and began encouraging everyone in her life to shop locally. Her passion for using all local ingredients in Cowbell recipes fueled her work drive and inspired all around her to appreciate local products. Her passion continues to inspire all of her friends and family to carry on her ideas through the Love, KK foundation.

Love, KK lifts up local small businesses, farmers and entrepreneurs by supporting and promoting them in all our projects which serve our community. Love, KK provides funds to purchase healthy nutritious food and transports the food to the pantry bi-weekly; provides funds, to purchase and deliver acts of kindness to spread positivity and lift up our community; provides scholarships and learning experiences to inspire future entrepreneurs; and connects with other non-profits and organizations to understand the needs in the community and how Love, KK can make a impact.

The 5KK is the Third-annual 5 kilometer (3.14 mile) fun run organized by the Love, KK foundation. Funds made from the 5KK will go towards the Love KK programs! This year will offer both in-person and virtual options.

May 6: GMU womens soccer team kicks the 5kk off with a meet-up run @GMU
May 14: All invited for the meet-up at Cowbell Kitchen in Leesburg. No mass start,  all day event where participants can go out for their run/walk anytime between 9-5 and enjoy some festivities at Cowbell Kitchen in downtown Leesburg

The goal of the 5KK is to spread awareness of Love, KK’s mission of local business support and promotion throughout the community. It is meant for everyone, including families, kids, runners, non-runners, and small business lovers! This is an annual fun-loving community event that can be used as a way for local businesses to interact with the community.
