Munday CISD will be offering 2 options for parents to enroll their students in school this year.

THIS FORM IS DUE TO YOUR CHILD'S CAMPUS NO LATER THAN AUGUST 5TH IF YOU WANT ONLINE LEARNING OPTION.

The questions below will help us to prepare our classrooms and school for a safe learning environment during this pandemic. The first 6 weeks we will allow some flexibility, after that unless there are extreme circumstances your choice is for the 6 week grading period. (No switching during the six weeks) New forms will be provided near the end of each grading period.

Online Learning Munday CISD

If you choose the online learning option for the school year 2020-2021 we are obligated to inform you and your child of certain requirements in order to receive class credit for work completed and to meet attendance requirements.

1.Classes will not be like the spring of 2020.
2.Students will be expected to be engaged in learning at least 240 minutes (4 hours) daily.
3.Assignments will be the same as for those attending In-Person classes.
4.Students will be required to submit some form of assignment daily, as determined by the classroom instructor, and principal.
5.Students will be expected to maintain 90% attendance or better as reflected by the dates on assignments returned to the teacher.
6.Students who choose online learning will not be allowed to participate in UIL activities (band, athletics, academics, etc.) [Consult with Directors]
7.Teachers will ONLY be available for direct contact with parents and students during set times. These times will be determined by the teacher and campus principal.
8.The grading guidelines will be the same as In-Person learning.
9.Lessons may be presented by video, audio, or a combination of the two.
10.Live classroom options will be available, with interaction during class, as long as it does not disrupt the learning environment.
11.If your child’s schedule requires lab work or shop projects, or assignments that must be completed in-person a time will be set up to allow for that. If the child fails to complete the work as required, that will be reflected in the final grade for the grading period. OR schedule may be changed to completely online.
12.Campus leaders have the responsibility to insure your child is receiving and doing the required work in order to receive credit for a class, or so they are ready for the next grade.
13.Adjustments will be made as we go through the school year together.

We respect your right to protect your child, and are pleased that we have the opportunity to offer an alternative to In-Person learning. However, we highly encourage all parents and students who feel comfortable to send their child to school In-Person. We believe that the best education is one where your child is with their peers, and a teacher who has been professionally trained.

ESTE FORMULARIO SE DEBE AL CAMPUS DE SU HIJO MÁS TARDE DEL 5 DE AGOSTO SI QUIERE LA OPCIÓN DE APRENDIZAJE EN LÍNEA.

Las preguntas a continuación nos ayudarán a preparar nuestras aulas y la escuela para un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro durante esta pandemia. Aprendizaje en línea Munday CISD

Si elige la opción de aprendizaje en línea para el año escolar 2020-2021, estamos obligados a informarle a usted y a su hijo sobre ciertos requisitos para recibir crédito de clase por el trabajo completado y cumplir con los requisitos de asistencia.

1.Las clases no serán como la primavera de 2020.
2. Se espera que los estudiantes participen en el aprendizaje al menos 240 minutos (4 horas) al día.
3. Las asignaciones serán las mismas que para los que asisten a clases en persona.
4.Los estudiantes deberán presentar alguna forma de tarea diaria, según lo determine el instructor del aula y el director.
5. Se espera que los estudiantes mantengan un 90% de asistencia o mejor como se refleja en las fechas en las tareas devueltas al maestro.
6. Los estudiantes que elijan el aprendizaje en línea no podrán participar en actividades de UIL (banda, atletismo, académicos, etc.) [Consultar con los directores]
7.Los maestros SOLO estarán disponibles para el contacto directo con padres y estudiantes durante los horarios establecidos. Estos tiempos serán determinados por el maestro y el director de la escuela.
8. Las pautas de calificación serán las mismas que las del aprendizaje en persona.
9.Las lecciones pueden presentarse en video, audio o una combinación de ambas.
10.Las opciones de aula en vivo estarán disponibles, con interacción durante la clase, siempre que no interrumpa el entorno de aprendizaje.
11. Si el horario de su hijo requiere trabajo de laboratorio o proyectos de taller, o tareas que deben completarse en persona, se establecerá un tiempo para permitirlo. Si el niño no completa el trabajo según lo requerido, eso se reflejará en la calificación final para el período de calificación. O el horario puede cambiarse a completamente en línea.
12.Los líderes de los campus tienen la responsabilidad de asegurarse de que su hijo esté recibiendo y haciendo el trabajo requerido para recibir crédito por una clase, o al menos están listos para el próximo grado.
13. Se harán ajustes a medida que avancemos juntos durante el año escolar.





Respetamos su derecho a proteger a su hijo y nos complace tener la oportunidad de ofrecer una alternativa al aprendizaje en persona. Sin embargo, alentamos a todos los padres y estudiantes que se sienten cómodos para enviar a sus hijos a la escuela en persona. Creemos que la mejor educación es aquella en la que su hijo está con sus compañeros y un maestro que ha recibido capacitación profesional.
