Covid-19 Risk Assessment: Gong Meditation
You must complete the following risk assessment prior to each session to ensure it is safe for you to attend.
We have provided some guidelines to help you prepare.
THE SESSION
- The class will include various yogic practices including movements, stretches, pranayama, sacred mantra and meditation.
- Participants take full responsible for themselves. We encourage you to listen to your body and only do what you feel is right for you.
- Doors will open at 5:50pm. Please arrive in good time as the session will begin promptly at the designated time.
- Yoga mats will be available, however you may like to bring your own.
- Please dress comfortably for the session. As body temperature tends to drops during deep relaxation, we recommend you wear layers.
- It is essential that you bring along blankets and pillows for your comfort during the meditation.
- You may also like to bring a bottle of water, and journaling materials.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SESSION IF YOU HAVE ANY KNOWN SYMPYOMS OR CORONAVIRUS OR HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE WHO HAS.

The Gong is ancient healing therapy which creates vibrational sound waves that reach the body on a deep cellular level- often taking us on a meditative journey and bringing about profound energetic shift on many levels. Whether that be physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually, the gong experience is very individual and will vary from person to person.
Please note that as a precaution, you are advised NOT to participate in Gong Meditation sessions during pregnancy, if you have a pacemaker or have suffered from acoustic trauma or experience psychotic episodes. In addition, if wearing hearing aids, these MUST be removed before the session begins. If you have any serious health issues and are unsure how Gong therapy may affect you, please consult your GP before attending.
