The SAEM Simulation Academy is again offering an attendance scholarship to a resident or fellow with a demonstrated interest in simulation, for the purpose of attending simulation related activities at the SAEM21 Virtual Meeting, from May 11-14, 2021. Up to five scholarships will be awarded to cover the cost of registration. Candidates may optionally submit a CV and one letter of nomination by emailing
simulation@saem.org.
The awardee would be expected to attend and participate in the following activities:
- Tuesday, May 11, 8am-5pm Pre-conference activities related to simulation
- Wednesday, May 12 9am-5:30pm Simulation Wars prep & event sponsored by the SAEM Simulation Academy
- Thursday, May 13 1pm-5pm Simulation Academy section meeting & Fellows forum
This nomination form may be (1) a self-nomination by the nominee, in which a brief personal statement with examples of simulation related activities and career goals should be provided; or (2) a faculty nomination with a brief statement of how the nominee has demonstrated an interest in simulation either as a current or future fellow; both parties may submit for the same nominee if desired. In both cases, a faculty member or program director should be able to attest that the nominee will be excused from clinical duties to attend SAEM from May 11-14.
