All students are invited to participate in this trip up to CSU's Mountain Campus for a weekend of community, reflection, learning, healing, and fun - all centered in our LGBTQ+ experiences.
When: Friday, September 9th 5:00PM-8:00 PM (On Campus)
Saturday, September 10th 8:00 AM - Sunday, September 11th 4:30 PM (CSU Mountain Campus)
Where: CSU's Mountain Campus [approximately 2 hours away]
How: Transportation, meals, and housing are provided.
How much: There is no cost to attend this event!
What: Participants will have the opportunity to engage in small and large group discussions, workshops, self reflection, and activities involving creativity, games, team building, outdoor recreation, and art.
Why: Our goal is for all participants to come back from the retreat with...
- A deeper understanding of our individual and collective identities and stories.
- Supportive connections with peers, staff and faculty that we can continue growing when we return to campus.
- A deeper understanding of the various facets and experiences within the queer community, through an intersectional lens.
- Skills and understanding around resiliency, healing and community care.
- Memories from a fantastically fun weekend.
