YASES Before and After School Programs: 2024-2025 Enrollment Form

Dear Parents/Guardians,

WCUSD is proud to partner with the YMCA to provide high-quality child care and expanded learning opportunities to TK-8 families enrolled at our elementary, middle and intermediate schools.

The WCUSD YASES programs are provided at no cost using state funding provided by the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) and the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Program grants available through the California Department of Education. Our goal is to serve all families, however, space is limited based on available funding, staffing and facilities. Enrollment will be available on a first-come, first-served basis among the following groups: 1) students for whom we receive funding (foster youth, students experiencing homelessness, students enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program, and students identified as English language learners), as well as 2) returning participants and siblings.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS:

Before School: Available 90 minutes before school starts. Students must check-in within the first 45 minutes.
After School: Available after school until 6:00 p.m. every regular school day. Students may be picked up early in accordance with the program’s early release policies.

MIDDLE & INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL PROGRAMS: (Before school care is not available)

After School: Available after school until 6:00 p.m. every regular school day. Students may be picked up early in accordance with the program’s early release policies.

**ENROLLMENT AND REGISTRATION is a two-step process.

Step 1: Complete this district online enrollment form (one for each child).

Step 2: Once the district verifies that your student is enrolled in the district, Y-ASES will use the email you provided to send you a confirmation along with registration materials and an estimated start date for your child. Complete those registration forms as soon as you can.
