Improving Wyoming Laws to Protect Hunters

The West is shrinking and becoming more difficult to navigate for hunters and wildlife. The relationship between ranchers and hunters is changing and the moment is ripe for conflict between public and private property owners as we each attempt to assert our rights to our ground and our heritage. To protect the interests of public and private property owners we believe our decision makers should seek solutions that protect the rights of each without undermining the rights of another.

It is important that we clarify the laws governing how hunters, anglers, and private property owners navigate this space, and how Game and Fish enforces those laws. This is where you come in. Your experiences and insights are vital in shaping our understanding of where conflict exists, the challenges you face in the field, your concerns for the future, and how this shapes your participation and perspectives around your hunting heritage.

This survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and will be very helpful to our efforts in the coming months. Thank you in advance and for all you do for our public lands, waters, and wildlife.
