Stories of Hope: Scarcity
This form leads you through the lesson for Wednesday, November 4th. You can fill it out on your own, but it will be even more meaningful if you can have a parent or faith mentor join you in reflection and conversation. What is one interesting thing you learned about abundance or scarcity from the video?
These are strange times we living in. There is a close, contentious election and a pandemic (which is why we don't have In-Person class right now), just to name a few things. When you think about scarcity, what things come to your mind? (since you watched the video, you should have at least a few ideas!) *
Take a couple minutes and look around your house. What do you have an abundance (A lot) of? This can be tangible things, like phone chargers or TV, but can also be intangible things, like hope or fear. *
We have two stories to read in the Bible today. The first is the story of Manna in the Wilderness. Read Exodus chapter 16. In this story people complain and God responds with an abundance of food, but just enough for the day. When you've finished reading, click: *
