Encouraged by the initiative of the Rescue OC and TC, the RCJ Soccer OC and TC would like to hold a so called “virtual poster session” for all the RCJ Soccer teams around the world in which the teams are encouraged to show their work, discuss it with others and use this opportunity to finish of this past year.

The basic idea of the Virtual Poster Session is to have a Soccer Poster session, just in a virtual way. And although the RoboCup Federation will not issue awards this year, the best team’s poster will still be acknowledged by the RCJ Soccer OC and TC.

Thanks to the event being virtual, there are no capacity limits. We invite all RCJ Soccer teams around the world with participants who are under the RCJ age limit to participate.

We invite all the teams that intend to participate to create a poster according to the RCJ Soccer Poster rubric of 2019. Furthermore, to imitate the “presentation” part of the poster session, we would like to encourage you to create a short 5 minute video that would highlight the most important parts of your poster and serve as a starting point for the discussions. That said, creating a video is not mandatory.

Please produce both the poster and the video in English. Just as is the case at RCJ in general, Mentors can provide support for creating the poster and/or the video, but it ultimately needs to be independent work done by the students.

To take part in the Virtual Poster Session, please fill out the following form by June 19th 2020 23:59:59 GMT. Once you do so, further information will be sent to the email you fill in below. You can expect the deadline for sending the poster and the video (should you choose to create one) to be on June 25th 2020 23:59:59 GMT.
