We would like to invite you to join us to sing this iconic choral work. Presented by the Jersey Music Association, we would like to bring singers from across the island to perform together to launch 2024 in a positive way and we hope that different groups across the island would like to get involved with this project too.
Friday 19th January 7-9pm at Jersey College for Girls - Evening rehearsal for singers
Saturday 3rd February 1 - 3pm at St Helier Methodist Centre - Afternoon rehearsal for singers
Saturday 3rd February 6pm at St Helier Methodist Centre - Evening performance
Conductor: John Bowley (Head of Music, Jersey College for Girls)
Organist: Francis Murton (Director of Music, Victoria College)
Soloists: local singers and teachers
Music: Watkins Shaw/Prout editions preferred; some copies would be available to hire
Cost: There is a charge of £10 each for singer taking part. Payment will be taken at the rehearsals.Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you know who may be interested.
