LSESU Virtual Welcome Fair Stallholder Agreement 2020


1.  The London School of Economics Student Union Virtual Welcome Fair (‘the Fair’) has the following purpose:

To welcome all students regardless of their background or beliefs to be part of the LSE and LSESU community.
To be an opportunity for student societies and clubs to positively promote their
activities and organisations to fellow students.
To showcase services and opportunities within the Students’ Union that is available to all LSE Students.
To enhance the Student experience.
To be carried out in a spirit of mutual cooperation and respect.
To comply with the rules and regulations of the LSESU, as well as the relevant rules and regulations of the School, including, but not limited to, the LSE Ethics Code and standards of behaviour that are set out in the Student Disciplinary Procedure.

2.  To have a virtual stall at the LSESU Virtual Welcome Fair you, ‘the Stallholder’, and other students/committee members responsible for the management of your Virtual Stall and live chat rooms, agrees to the following:  

No stall will be used to advertise a commercial or other external organisation without the prior permission of the LSESU.
Only committee members who are current LSE students can run the stall.
No Stallholder will take or record any personal contact information (including emails, phone numbers, photographs and social media accounts) during online conversations with other students as this is not GDPR Compliant.
Groups may not produce, distribute or pass on content during online conversations that is of a discriminatory nature, or content which may offend, harm or cause distress to others.
Respect all students and act in a way that does not cause harassment, duress or stress.
Report any complaint, dispute or apparent incident of bad behaviour to su.arcstaff@lse.ac.uk at the earliest opportunity.
Communicate the terms of this Agreement to other members of your, the Stallholders’, society, who may be involved in online conversations linked to your virtual stall.
To always act in a way that is in keeping with the purpose of the Virtual Welcome Fair outlined above.

3.  If you are deemed to be in breach of any of these, the SU reserve the right to ask you to stop partaking in the Virtual Welcome Fair and to carry out disciplinary procedures in accordance with LSESU BYE-LAW 4 | STUDENT ACTIVITIES.
