CALL-OUT📣                            E.A.T <now> tech+ART     international student project
A creative laboratory - KASK (Gent) + Technikum (Vienna)

This project is an interdisciplinary collaboration between art students from the School of Arts Ghent, (KASK), Belgium, and technical students from the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna, Austria. It focuses on sharing knowledge between two contrasting disciplines - art and technology. Participants will be invited to work together in pairs or small groups on a creative project based on shared interests and artistic or technical skills. The project will be undertaken in English.

Important information!
  • Please read through the project outline and if interested in this project put your info into the second section of this form.
  • Approximately 10 KASK students** will be chosen to be part of this project.
  • This project is on a voluntary basis, all expenses are on your own account.  
  • DEADLINE 10th November - midnight!
**If there is a lot of interest, there will be a selection process and the project will be limited to a maximum of approximately 10 KASK students.
The Phases:

PHASE 1 | workshop
16 & 17/11/2023 (project week 1) 10:00 - 18:00
@ KASK Ghent, Media Art studio & online for Technikum students

PHASE 2 | online collaboration with an interim presentation in January or February (date tbc) November ’23 to March ’24 @ Online


PHASE 3 | making an exhibition or presentation
18 - 22/03/2024 (project week 2)  @ Space in Technikum building or WEST space Vienna. 


Practical details about the trip to Vienna will follow soon, but it is important to note that the trip is at your own expense. During the trip we will work about 2 days towards a presentation and spend 2 days on visits.
