Glasgow Seed Library – Seed Request Form 2020
Hello Seed Savers!

Please use this form to request seeds for growing in 2020.

Glasgow Seed Library is not a place but a community of local growers and seedsavers - and that includes you!

It is a free resource but we ask that all growers commit to growing organically and saving some seeds at the end of the season to return to the library. We can provide advice and resources to help you do this!

According to government advice, your seeds will be delivered within a 5 mile radius of central Glasgow by bike. Seed librarians will follow a contact-free protocol to ensure safe and uncontaminated seed-sharing during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Due to travel restrictions, we are currently only able to deliver to: G1, G2, G3, G4, G31, G40, G5, G42, G44, G43, G41, G52, G51, G11, G12, G20, G22, G21, G33, G32. We can't guarantee the availability of all the seeds you request, but will try to match your request, with what's available, the growing space you have, the time of year, and your experience with seed saving. Each seed will be a specific variety, so look out for its name on the packet. If there's something you'd like to grow which isn't listed below, please tick Other and specify - even if we don't have it this year, it will help when ordering seed in the future!

Glasgow Seed Library is a community resource - it depends on growers letting some of their plants go to seed and then returning some seeds back to the library at the end of the year. Please confirm you're happy to commit to save seed for us. Don't worry if you're not sure how - we can send you more information on how to do this!
Can you grow your seeds organically (without chemicals)? *
We want all our seeds to be grown with organic methods - this means they are grown without chemical pesticides or fertilisers. This makes for healthier, more resilient plants, healthier vegetables – and takes care of our environment and local wildlife.
Do you want to receive occasional email updates from Glasgow Seed Library? *
This means the Glasgow Seed Library steering group will store your name and email address securely and use it to stay in touch with you about the seed library. No details will be passed to anyone else. Your phone number will not be stored.
