The Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus is looking for volunteers for Houston’s 2022 Pride Festival! The Caucus will have a tent this year at Pride, and we are looking for volunteers to assist with set up, tabling, voter registration, and tear down.

Set Up: Duties include transporting materials to our booth at the Festival and staging our tent to be action ready. We will be assigned either Friday evening (7-10pm) or a one hour slot on Saturday morning (7-11am) to set up. More specific information will be provided as Houston Pride provides more details.

Festival Tabling: If you have experience with The Caucus and love talking to people, this is the role for you. We will be there from Saturday, June 25th (12-6pm). Duties include engaging with the public, answering questions about The Caucus, and helping process new memberships.

Voter Registration: If you are a VDVR, we would appreciate your support registering people to vote. We will have all the materials possibly needed such as pens, registration forms, and clipboards. We just need your talents!
Our tent will also have voter pledge cards and Caucus voting stickers.

Tear Down: Last but not least is tearing down our booth. We will be speedy with teardown to ensure that you can enjoy evening time pride activities such as the parade and parties. Currently the festival is scheduled to end around 6:30 pm but we will pack up at 6 pm. More specific information will be provided as Houston Pride provides more details.
