Fireside Elementary School Survey for Student In-Person Return

The purpose of this survey is to identify each family's preference to return to in-person learning when available or to remain in PVConnect. When returning to in-person learning, students can expect to return all day, five days a week with safety protocols in place, including the requirement for students to wear cloth masks and nightly cleaning of classrooms and common areas. More information regarding the extensive mitigation and health protocols that will be in place can be found at the PVSchools website at pvschools.net/reopening.

All options for in-person and PVConnect learning will depend on student enrollment in these models and available staff. The length of time that PVConnect will continue to be available will depend on the persistence of COVID-19 within our community.

When PVSchools open for in-person learning, which option is your preference? *

Return to in-person school: Children will return in-person to the typical elementary school schedule. Children will be required to wear cloth masks at all times. Safety measures will be in place but there will be the inability to meet the requirements of physical distancing.

Remain in PVConnect through the first semester: Children electing to stay in the PVConnect model will experience changes to the model. These may include changes to time and length of classes, teachers and specials. Every effort will be made to keep consistency for children, but these changes will be dependent on the number of students who remain with PVConnect and available staffing.
