- Help to understand low laying rate and prevent it
- Help to prevent chickens from pecking each other's feathers
- Help to improve poor feathers recovery
During the past 2 years, the farm has used feed recipes which do not seem to be well balanced as there are several problems:
- Low laying rate
- Thin eggshells and deformed eggs
- Chickens peck each other & pull feathers
- Feather recovery is poor all year round
- Chickens eat the eggs
All these issues are a result of an unbalanced feed. The farm has tried to find more suitable recipes, but every large producer nearby keeps their recipes a secret, and web sources are unreliable and unprofessional.

As a partner of the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer Program, we drive sustainable economic growth in Armenia, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan.
ACDI/VOCA supports farmers and agribusiness professionals in developing countries to improve their livelihoods and food security. Farmer-to-Farmer sends U.S.-based volunteers on technical assignments to provide hands-on training to communities, cooperatives, agribusinesses, and educational institutions.
WHY we do what we do stems from the realization that farmers in the developing world often lack access to technologies and innovations crucial for enhancing productivity and competitiveness. Despite their inherent strength and resilience, farmers require access to the latest practices to uplift their families and communities from poverty. Farmer-to-Farmer serves as a vital bridge, deploying highly-skilled volunteers to provide individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary to prosper.
