Sketches Montessori offers learning programs for children from 1.5 to 12 years of age. We follow the authentic Montessori method of education which is based on hands-on, experiential learning in a mixed aged environment (e.g. 2.5 to 6 year old children work together in the same environment as opposed to different classes). Children in our community work on a personalized learning path following their intrinsic motivation and natural drive to learn. Our trained Montessori guides act as gentle facilitators in this process of auto-education. They closely observe each child’s progress, readiness to advance to new lessons, recognizing and interpreting each child's needs and offering them the right help.
What inspired you to explore Montessori Learning approach for your child? Please also share how you think Montessori fits your educational goals for your child. *
Learning doesn't just happen at school. A child's educators at home are the parents. Montessori is not just a method of education but rather a way of life.  Parents in our community feel inspired to learn more about this philosophy and align their parenting approach accordingly. As a school, we believe in establishing a strong partnership with parents and help them understand the key principles of Montessori philosophy so that they can continue to offer the right help at home and there is consistency at the school and home environment.
Would you be interested in learning more about the Montessori philosophy to make necessary  adaptations to your parenting approach at home? *
We are the first school in Delhi NCR to offer authentic Montessori education up to 12 years. Since we started in 2017, we have built a small community of like-minded parents who want the Montessori learning experience for their children over conventional methods of education (which includes our founders and educators, who are first involved with the school as parents). We will continue to grow over time as we get support from our parent community - other authentic Montessori schools across different cities in India have grown organically in the same way over time). We offer a scientific and well-researched pedagogy practiced by capable educators within a modest school setting - which is sufficient to deliver an effective learning experience for children.
What are your thoughts about being a part of small school community which is not set-up like a conventional school - neither in terms of academic programs nor in terms of the physical space? *
We are not set up as a playschool or preschool. Parents can choose to transition out of Montessori education at any age (and we have had successful transitions over the past 6 years), however, to gain the full benefits of Montessori Education in early years from 1.5 - 6 years, we recommend that the child completes the toddler program and the three-year Casa program. Post that if a family wishes to continue Montessori education, the child can transition to our elementary program for 6-12 year olds (equivalent to Grade 1 to 6).
Please share your thoughts about how long you plan on keeping your child in the Montessori education system. *
Please tell us a little about your child. (such as the child's daily routine, the kind of activities your child enjoys at home, the kind of activities you enjoy doing together etc., any specific medical conditions or special needs). *
Based on available capacity, we are currently able to offer transportation in the nearby localities within 10 kms radius of the school. Please let us know if you need transportation and we will advise if it is feasible to offer the same to your location. Please select from the options below: *
