Stopping the Spread of COVID-19 starts with you!
Join in South Routt's efforts to encourage individuals and businesses to Follow the Five Commitments to Containment and all the business protocols to ensure that customers, individuals and the community are safe.
In order to move to the next levels of opening, we need to keep the virus count low and we also need to exhibit partnership among municipalities, law enforcement, healthcare, businesses, and individuals.
If Routt County is able to move to Safer at Home Level One some of the changes would include:
· Personal gathering sizes can increase from 10-25
· Outdoor events can increase from 175 to 250 with 50% capacity
· Indoor Events can increase from 100 to 175 with 50% capacity
· Places of Worship can increase from 50% capacity or 50 people to 50% capacity or 175 indoors
· Group sports and camps can increase from 25 to 50 per activity
· Retail, offices, personal services and limited health care settings stay the same.
· The current restaurant variance would no longer be in effect.

At the same time, the County is also working on the application for Protect Our Neighbors. Protect our Neighbors requires a low case count. For Routt County’s population, this would mean seven or less cases in a two- week period. See here for more information:

As a part of South Routt Ready, Routt County invites community members, community organizations, and businesses to take a pledge to be a partner in public health. Those who take the pledge can display a poster or sticker showing their commitment to keeping businesses open and protecting public health. We are excited that this shared commitment to partnership will be a strong demonstration to the state and to our community that we are all in this together. All businesses and individuals who take the pledge will be displayed on the Routt Ready webpage:
