How will you get involved with promoting Healthy Relationships?

In the past six months, domestic violence advocates at the Crime Victims & Rape Crisis Center have served well over 500 clients, assisting victims with filing Orders of Protection. Yes, you read that right - in just 6 months, more than 500 people have needed to ask the court to help keep them safer!

CVRCC is asking for your help in taking a stand against domestic violence. Pledge today to do just #ONETHING. One thing that may save someone’s life. One thing that may make a huge impact on someone, perhaps a child or teen in your community or even in your family.

This pledge is your personal commitment to make positive and effective changes to help reduce the number of people impacted by violence.

Keep reading for ways in which you can get involved safely using the tools and techniques learned today during the event. Then, choose one to complete or perhaps choose as many as you'd like.

What is your Call to Action?

I will practice the "See Something, Say Something" concept.

I will share information with my network, using the "What is Learned Here, Leaves Here" concept (see below for links to our social media - sharing posts is an easy way to accomplish this one!).

I will talk to someone I am concerned about regarding their relationship.

I will be a safe bystander for those I love.

I will practice Resolving Conflict without Violence by learning to understand my emotions and managing my reactions.
