My family have been members of St. Stephen’s for over 15 years. I live with my Mom, Dad and two brothers in Anoka. I attend Anoka Middle School and enjoy playing hockey.

In my younger years, Church wasn’t important and even though my parents were active in the Parish, I really didn't understand God or my relevance in the Church community. As I'm getting older, I feel more connected to living out my Faith in a more profound way, and that's why I'm requesting to be Confirmed this spring.

Through the Confirmation program, I have grown closer in having a relationship with Jesus Christ. The weekend retreat was extremely powerful in preparing me for Confirmation, it is there where I encountered God for the first time. Since then, my prayer life has increased, I enjoy participating in Mass and I've participated in Confession more too. I've really been helping more at home, and am volunteering often at the community center.

After Confirmation I will continue to serve God, the Church and others through the power of the Holy Spirit. I will participate in Mass every week and the other Holy Days of obligation, and I look forward in celebrating in Confession more. I'm going to volunteer more at Church and in the community. I am planning on reading my Bible more and will try to share my Faith with students at my school.
