Martin County School District will be offering a Summer VPK Program at Salerno Learning Center, 3400 Lionel Terrace, Stuart, FL 34997, beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2020. The program will take place Monday through Thursday from Wednesday, June 24th through Thursday, July  30, 2020.  The hours of operation each day are 7:30am - 5:00pm. Dismissal on the last day, Thursday, July 30th will be at 1pm. Families must be willing to commit to regular attendance throughout the program session.

In order for a child to be eligible to participate in the program, a child

 Must be 5 years old on or before September  1, 2020
 Must NOT have participated in a VPK program during 2019-2020 school year
 Must be a Florida Resident


Registration for VPK is a multi-step process.

Step 1 -  Complete this google form to express interest in participating in the program.
 
Step 2 –  Obtain a VPK Certificate of Eligibility.  In order to obtain a VPK Certificate of Eligibility, parents must visit the website at https://vpkcp.floridaearlylearning.com/  to complete the online registration process.  For additional information, you can contact the Early Learning Coalition of Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee Counties at 1-877-220-1223 ext. 260  

Step 3 – Register your child with the Martin County School District by scheduling an appointment with Mercedes Ryan, VPK Service Manager, at 772-219-1610, x38156 or ryanm@martin.k12.fl.us prior to the start of the program.

The items needed for registration with the Martin County School District are the VPK Certificate of Eligibility, child’s birth certificate, immunization record, current physical examination and two forms of residence verification.
