Saturday Training and Clinic Schedule:
September 4th - Orientation Session (10:00am - 12:00pm)
September 18th - First Clinic (10:00am - 1:30pm)
October 16th - Second Clinic (10:00am - 1:30pm)
November 13th - Third Clinic (10:00am - 1:30pm)

I understand the total time commitment is approximately 20 hours over the course of the semester. In addition to the three clinics and orientation sessions listed above, I will be available to confer with my law student mentees via phone or email, prior to each clinic, regarding issues expected to be presented. *

1) I will be expected to provide short-term limited-scope legal services to client participants without expectation by either attorney or client that the attorney will provide continuing representation in the matter

2) Client participants will sign non-engagement letters

3) Attorneys will be covered under Santa Clara University's professional liability insurance

4) Law student volunteers will receive training on conducting client interviews

5) Law students will obtain and review client-supplied materials in advance, conduct client intake interviews, and perform preliminary research re issues presented

6) The level of law student participation in counseling sessions is expected to vary according to year (1L, 2L, etc.) and individual skill level
